The Words - Demo

I'm saying the words
Girl you left me so stranded
with so much love I could've shared
you never spoke to me again
and to this day you still dont care
Im saying the words
Liars, cheaters, all my close friends
Satan walks upon the road
heaven is where they are destined
and purgetory's where I'll go
I'm saying the words
I dont care where the stars take me
I'll still live so consciously
I don't care where the stars take me
as long as I still can breathe
I'm saying the words

Who am I - Demo

Who am I
To stand and wonder, to wait
While the wheels of fate
Slowly grind my life away.
Who am I ?
There were some things that I loved one time,
But the dreams are gone that I thought were mine,
And the hidden tears that once could fall
Now burn inside at the thought of all
The years of waste, the years of cryin'
The passions of a heart so blind;
To think that, but even still
As I stand exposed, the feelings are felt
And I cry into the echo of my loneliness.
Who am I
To stand and wonder, to wait
While the wheels of fate
Slowly grind my life away.
Who am I ?
What a nothing I've made of life
The empty words, the coward's plight
To be pushed and passed from hand to hand
Never daring to speak, never daring to stand
And the emptiness of my family's eyes
Reminds me over and over of lies
And promises and deeds undone
And now again I want to run
But now there is nowhere to run to.
Who am I
To stand and wonder, to wait
While the wheels of fate
Slowly grind my life away.
Who am I ?
And now my friend we meet again and
We shall see which one will bend
Under the strain of death's golden eyes
Which one of us shall win the prize
'Tis I, my friend, yes 'tis I
Shall kill to live again and again
To clutch the throat of sweet revenge
For life is here only for the taking.
Who am I
To stand and wonder, to wait
While the wheels of fate
Slowly grind my life away.
Who am I ? Who am I ?

Lazy hayley in the blue sky
laughing the wind with a smile in her eyes
raining her tears at night
only wishing to be told she was alright
now the time has come
to feel guilty with the fifth day gone by
she let out a cry
and flooded the moon
she never wanted me to be upset
now what can we do
she let out a cry
and flooded the moon
lazy hayley in the green grass
remembering playing winter games
the sun went to hide away
feeling so ashamed

Laughing the gray silence away
here it comes
who knows where its from
shining gentle rays upon the ground
the last one i lost the last one i found
How am I here?
the window is contemplating
the sound i want from the sound i hear
It was a long day
but before i knew it
I was blowing the smoke away
Cloud structures tell the best stories
in your own state of mind
and the window on the wall
helps look away the time
sensations of revelations
that i have felt and feel
the frying man, the dying man
the difference, the deep unreal

The Frying Man Spokane, Washington
I started playing at age 9, but haven't really taken things very seriously till i had turned 13. One of my largest influences was Syd Barrett at the time of my learning and when I was writing all of the songs with the name "Frying Man." The name comes from a poem I had wrote in 2010 that received a compliment, after a bad trip I had that inspired all of this I thought it fit really well. ... more
